The Portobello carpet is made of pure Egyptian cotton sponge . The sponge is extremely soft, absorbent, light and voluminous. The product has also undergone a special antibacterial treatment for maximum hygiene. The underside is also equipped with a non-slip silicone surface .

The special antibacterial finishing treatment exploits the properties of silver to make the sponge repellent to bacteria, inhibiting its growth and preventing the formation of bad odours. In this way, the sponge requires less frequent washing, preserving the integrity of the fabric for a long time and reducing the use of water and detergents over time.
